How does Aspen ensure data security?

Aspen employs advanced security measures to protect your data, including encryption, secure access controls, and regular audits.

Will Aspen integrate with the products and systems my district currently uses?

Yes! We have yet to find a product that we can’t integrate with! Aspen fully supports the IMS Global One roster specification, allowing for real-time integrations with learning management systems like Canvas and Google Classroom, and other third-party tools a district might use. Aspen is flexible, enabling each district to choose the tools that work best for them.

Follett can also build custom RESTful APIs directly within Aspen, and administrators can easily access source code for all the tools used for reporting, state reporting, data imports, and data exchanges via API.

What support resources does Aspen offer?

Between outstanding customer service and the learning sessions we provide, Aspen support is top-notch. We offer weekly webinars and free biweekly Aspen Answers calls where product management and senior support staff answer questions and help develop custom solutions. You have access to several customer-run community forums as well.  

Does Aspen support SSO (Single Sign-On)?

Yes. We work with Google, Microsoft Azure, and others. Aspen can also be provisioned as the identity provider.  

How does the Aspen team onboard a new district?

Change management is something the Aspen team does very well! Aspen implementation and training are crucial to the success of the software, and our team is committed to your school’s success and ease of use. Every implementation is a unique journey that includes a dedicated configuration person, a relationship person, and a conversion person. All three team members will work with your school for months (or longer) to ensure a smooth transition.

Is Aspen capable of supporting continuing education?

Yes. This is accessible to everyone with Aspen 6.7. or higher.
