About this event
Behavior management is an essential but thorny topic in all schools – and not just in the classroom. Teachers are presented with a variety of techniques to deal with challenging student behavior, initially as part of their teaching training program at university, and then when they are new staff in a school. Librarians usually don’t get this privilege and are just expected to work it out themselves on the job. That’s where a webinar like this comes in!
Join one of the country’s most experienced school librarians, Paul Register, (with four secondary schools, a sixth form college and a year as Chair of the School Library Association under his belt!) as he presents you with new ways of thinking about your own approach to behavior management and offers a healthy mixture of useful tips and methods for asserting your authority and lowering your stress levels.
If you’re new to school librarianship or have been in the profession for many years, there’s bound to be something new for everyone to try or at least consider.
This webinar is open to all librarians and will be available to view to all registrants following the live recording.
Webinar Key Learning Points:
